Then he sold it within three days of me giving it to him for our anniversary! (At least he made a profit.)

Piano Recital

My first recital since I started piano lessons again. I decided now is the time to accomplish my goals...
By the way, I screwed this piece up at my recital, Think of Me from Phantom of the Opera. For some reason I got nervous playing in front of people. Maybe because it's my first day.
Thanks to John, my brother, he took this picture with his high-tech phone.

Target Shooting

Chad and Cassidy (husband to my sister Monica) shooting at a place near their cabin in southeastern Utah. Monica and Cassidy are a lot of fun!

Some call it Serendipity... Some call it Fate... I say it was meant to be... even if by accident!

Chad is my sexy cowboy! We started dating by accident. Chad says he thought I was scary, and I thought he was a good looking cowboy who liked to smoke and only coming to church because he had friends there ie Matt Svedin. We met in a BYU ward and unbeknownst to me, his dad was the bishop. We were opposites. I always wore a business looking outfit to church - black jacket black skirt and heals. Chad wore his jeans and a handlebar mustache. We still dress now about the same as we did then, but without the handles in the mustache, and once in a while I thrown on the cowgirl boots he bought me for our wedding.

At ward prayer one day Chad's friend Jared dared me to flirt with him to embarrass him... I LOVE embarrassing people. Especially big tough guys like Chad. So, I did. A lot of people witnessed it. I sat in a bowl seat next to him and put his arm around me. I scared Chad so bad he got up and asked Matt to take him home. Long story short, I took it a bit too far, and that night I ended up making a date with him because I felt guilty for flirting to tease. As he was leaving from taking me home I said, "So aren't you going to ask me for my number?!" He said "O ya..."

It turned out that Chad didn't smoke, he only wears black jeans to church instead of blue jeans. He served a mission and has a great testimony of the gospel. After only a couple of dates I started realizing what a wonderful person he was and is.

I am so happy we happened to start dating even if it were just a dare that brought us together. He is amazing and wonderful. The perfect match for me in every way!

So much for winter!

This is a picture of Chad doing the wii at his sister's old house in Texas.

Chad and I spent a month long warm winter vacation... Loved it! In Texas at 80 degrees! Unfortunatly we had to come home to get back to business. Chad was pouring concrete for their new house. Which is the ideal vacation for us... Chad works while I play, and we are both happy. Staying with Steph and Lance and their kids was a lot of fun. We have both felt lonely since we left them. It was easy to get used to living in a house full of kiddies. We're thinking we might just have our own some day. Plus, Steph gave us her crib, and we don't want it to go to waste. So, why not?
